1. Why does the text "look like a different font"?
The Unicode standard includes alternate alphabet blocks originally designed for mathematical notation — U+1D400–U+1D7FF (Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols), U+24B6–U+24E9 (Circled letters), U+FF00–U+FFEF (Fullwidth forms). This tool maps your Latin letters and digits one-to-one onto those blocks. The result is real text, not an image or a custom font, which is why it pastes directly into Kakao, Instagram, Discord and anywhere else.
2. Why doesn't Hangul (Korean) get font styles?
Unicode has no alternate-alphabet blocks for Hangul. Instead, the tool wraps Korean text with decorative frames — stars ✦·˚, hearts ♡, sparkles ☁︎, Japanese-style brackets 【】 — or inserts U+200A hair spaces to add width. The "Decorative Frames" category is designed specifically for Hangul.
3. Platform compatibility
- KakaoTalk profile name: 20-character limit. Most Unicode blocks work, but combining characters (e.g. strikethrough U+0336) may render differently on different devices — check the preview before pasting.
- Instagram bio: 150-character limit. Unicode characters count toward the limit. Script, Bubble and Decorative Frames are popular for bio decoration.
- Twitter / X: 280 characters. Bold/Sans Bold are indexed separately from plain text by search engines, so keep keywords in plain text and apply styles only to decorative parts.
- Discord nickname: 32-character limit; @, #, : and some other characters are banned. Fraktur and Monospace work well. Combining marks may be filtered on some servers.
- Naver Blog / Cafe title: Most special characters are allowed. Since Naver indexes the plain-text content, add styled characters only at the very start of the title for decoration.
4. The 30+ style categories

- Decorative frames (Hangul-safe): Stars ✦·˚, Heart ♡, Sparkle ☁︎, Japanese brackets 【】, Cute paws ᐢ..ᐢ, Dots •, Cool brackets 『』, Flower ✿.
- Combining styles: Strikethrough (U+0336) and Underline (U+0332). Rendering varies by font and OS.
5. Copy-paste tips
- Always use the Copy button — manual drag-select may clip invisible spacing characters.
- After pasting into an app's edit field, save immediately — moving the cursor can delete combining marks.
- Some Android devices show Fraktur / Script as boxes. Switch to Bold or Sans Bold in that case.
- Screen reader note: Unicode math alphabets may be read aloud as "mathematical capital A". For accessibility-first accounts, include plain text alongside styled text.
